SEPANG: A deadly crash in Cyberjaya claimed the lives of four people after a car struck a road divider, losing control on impact.
Investigation and Details of the Accident
The Sepang OCPD, Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman, confirmed that the tragic incident occurred on Thursday (Nov 21) near IOI Conezion Putrajaya. The car, which was headed toward Putrajaya from Kajang, veered off the road and hit the divider.
Police Efforts and Ongoing Investigation
“All four victims have been brought to Putrajaya Hospital for postmortem procedures,” he said. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and are encouraging any witnesses to come forward to assist.
Reports on the Victims
As reported by Sinar Harian, the car was carrying four Malaysians, all aged between 20 and 40, including two men and two pregnant women. Selangor Fire and Rescue Department’s Assistant Director (Operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar revealed to Sinar Harian that three of the victims had died on the spot, while one woman was critically injured.
