A mother and her two-year-old son tragically lost their lives after their car overturned on the West Coast Expressway near Manjung. The accident occurred early on Wednesday morning, near KM212 southbound.
Toddler Ejected and Struck by Another Vehicle
According to Asst Comm Hasbullah Abd Rahman, the toddler was thrown from the vehicle after it collided with a divider. Another car, unable to stop in time, struck the boy. The father, aged 24, and the couple’s three-year-old son were unharmed.
Ongoing Investigation
A third car was involved, hitting the overturned vehicle. Investigations are ongoing, and police are asking witnesses to assist.
