PM Anwar Wishes Sultan of Selangor Swift Recovery from Influenza A
PM Anwar Ibrahim extends well-wishes to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah recovering from Influenza A. Sultan advised to rest for 5-7 days.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his well-wishes to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor, who is recovering from an Influenza A infection. Anwar expressed his prayers for the Sultan’s speedy return to good health in a Facebook post on 31 October.
In the post, Anwar prayed that Allah SWT would grant Sultan Sharafuddin a full recovery and continued good health, and that His Royal Highness would remain under divine protection and blessings.
Istana Alam Shah had earlier confirmed in a statement that the Sultan’s two personal physicians, Datuk Dr Anuar Onah and Datuk Dr Tan Hui Meng, had detected the infection after Sultan Sharafuddin experienced a high fever and weakness in his limbs since the previous morning.
The palace said the royal physicians had advised the Sultan to rest and to refrain from attending any official functions for five to seven days to allow for a full recovery.
