Transport Minister: Drugged Driver and Company to Face Consequences
Following a deadly truck crash in Pekan, Pahang, Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated that both the drug-impaired driver and the transport company will be held responsible. The crash resulted in 4 injuries and 2 deaths. Loke stressed the Transport Ministry’s zero-tolerance policy for drug-impaired driving and announced ongoing nationwide enforcement actions. He urged all heavy vehicle companies to take responsibility for their drivers’ actions and ensure safety compliance.
