KOTA KINABALU: The upcoming expansion of Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) will greatly enhance the travel experience for millions of passengers. Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced plans to increase the airport’s capacity and add new facilities to accommodate the growing number of travelers.

The expansion will include an upgraded terminal, a multi-storey car park, and new retail spaces. These improvements aim to create a more enjoyable and convenient experience for travelers. Loke also mentioned the possibility of adding a shopping mall within the terminal, similar to Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Terminal 2.
