PETALING JAYA: Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has confirmed the sale of 32.9 acres of industrial land in Johor to Deye New Energy, a deal valued at RM119 million.
The company stated that the land, which is part of Eco Business Park II in Senai, Iskandar Malaysia, remains an attractive location for industrial investors.

Deputy CEO Liew Tian Xiong emphasized that this agreement demonstrates the strong demand for Eco Business Parks from Chinese companies, particularly those in emerging technology and high-growth industries.

“As a leading provider of solar photovoltaic solutions, Deye’s establishment in our business park supports our commitment to fostering environmentally responsible businesses,” Liew noted.

Deye’s Investment Strategy
Deye is affiliated with Ningbo Deye Technology Co, a Chinese firm specializing in power inverters. The company has outlined plans to inject up to US$150 million into a Malaysian manufacturing hub for solar equipment.
Ningbo Deye is a well-established high-tech company with a strong presence in the global solar inverter market.
