KOTA TINGGI: A motorcyclist died at the scene of a four-vehicle collision that took place at Felda Penggeli on Friday morning (Jan 3). The crash occurred at 7:47 am and involved two Perodua Alza cars, a Proton Saga, and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle.
Fire and Rescue Team’s Swift Arrival
Bandar Tenggara Fire and Rescue Department station chief Bakhtiar Selamat stated that a rescue team of 12 firefighters arrived at the scene at 8:08 am, approximately 20 km from the fire station. The team was led by senior officer II Ibrahim Ishak.
Recovery Efforts for the Victim
Bakhtiar confirmed that the victim, 24-year-old Muhammad Fareedzul Anuar, was found trapped beneath the Proton Saga. The victim’s body was recovered using specialized equipment and later handed over to the police for further investigation.
No Injuries to Other Drivers
Fortunately, the drivers of the other vehicles involved were unharmed. The rescue operation concluded by 9:30 am.
