KUALA LUMPUR: Over a 10-year period, RM42mil was spent on the maintenance of landscapes in Putrajaya, according to recent government data.
Scope of Maintenance RM42mil : 1,873 Hectares Covered
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, highlighted that these funds covered an expansive 1,873 hectares, including several major public parks.
Key Green Spaces Maintained
Areas under maintenance included Taman Saujana Hijau, Taman Rimba Desa, Taman Pancarona, Taman Wetland, Taman Botani, and Taman Warisan Pertanian. Additionally, several residential zones and a lakefront covering 38% of Putrajaya were included.

Extra RM2.6mil for ASEAN Preparations
